About Course
CPE: Who’s doing the thinking? Multi Agent AI and Never Skilling in Clinical Settings
Date 19 October 2026 , Online Teams
From 7.00pm to 8.00pm
Speaker 1: Alfred Ho Zheng Ting, Pharmacist, Alexandra Hospital
Speaker 2: Jasmine Ong Chiat Ling, Principal Clinical Pharmacist, Singapore General Hospital
This session introduces DILIConsult, a multi-agent tool that assesses drug-induced liver injury from clinical notes, with agents splitting the work to reduce hallucination. We will cover how a structured communication framework SBAR makes its output usable for clinicians. We will further discuss the case for judicious AI use: when AI helps trainees build clinical reasoning, and when it replaces reasoning they haven’t yet developed.
Learning outcomes
- Explain how splitting DILI assessment across specialised agents reduces hallucination compared with a single model doing everything.
- Describe how presenting AI output in SBAR format makes it easier for clinicians to act on.
- Distinguish AI use that builds clinical reasoning from AI use that replaces it, and apply this to how trainees should use tools like DILIConsult.
