PSS Pharmacy Week 2024 was held on 29 September 2024 at Heartbeat@Bedok, drawing over 1,000 participants. The event was graced by Senior Minister of State Tan Kiat How, MP Cheryl Chan, and representatives from various healthcare institutions.
Focused on empowering the public in health management, the event featured engaging booths on medication safety, chronic conditions, and supplement myths. Health talks covered vaccination, dementia, mental well-being, and cardiovascular health.
In collaboration with NUS Health T.A.G., over 200 attendees received free health screenings and personalized consultations. 1doc Medical Centre and iRx Clinical Pharmacy supported follow-ups and vaccinations. Pre-event activities such as “Know Your Meds Saturday” and social media outreach helped raise awareness.
On 18 December 2024, Ms Lim Hong Yee and A/Prof Tan Su-Yin Doreen represented PSS to receive an appreciation award from SMS Tan. The event’s success was made possible by 24 dedicated committee members and strong partner, volunteer, and sponsor support.
